T-34B Mentor N400LL on the ground

The Lima Lima Flight Team is the world's original six-ship civilian formation aerobatic team. Founded in 1975 as the Mentor Flyers, Inc. — a flying club at Naper Aero Club field outside Naperville, Illinois — the team has grown into one of America's most celebrated airshow acts.

Flying six Beech T-34 Mentors in the Navy's training colors — with the signature black tail band — the team has performed coast to coast for over 100 million spectators, thrilling audiences with wedge, diamond, double arrowhead, and finger-four formations.
